We construct our roofing systems with one thing in mind, our customers. Whether you have a simple or complex design, Noosa Truss will have you covered with quality products using the most up to date software and technology. Pre-fabricated from machine grade timber and joined with metal connector plates, timber trusses are industry recognised as the most cost and time effective solutions for most roof framing applications.
All components are designed using MiTek state of the art 20/20 program, encompassing Australian standards AS1684 & AS4440.

WALL FRAMES
Our pre-fabricated wall frames are designed for strength and flexibility.
All timber frames manufactured at Noosa Truss are manufactured to the Australian Standards. We can also customize your frames to your specifications such as bigger timber sizes or smaller spacing’s. Noosa Truss manufactures frames in Pine, CCA Treated Pine, H2 or H3 Treated Pine. Using Pre fabricated Wall Frames, offer many advantages the main one being “saving time”. Prenail frames can usually be stood and tied down in one day, making them a very cost/time effective building product.

POSI STRUTS
Posi-STRUT® and Posi-PLUS®
MiTek’s Posi-STRUT® and Posi-PLUS® products offer a more economical and easier way to construct long span floors, rafters or Purlin systems. Posi-STRUT® is an open web truss system that combines the strength of steel with the flexibility of timber for custom made systems that will meet the exact requirements of your job. Posi-PLUS® may be used when exact spans cannot be determined prior to manufacture. Posi-PLUS® has patented trimable end panels, giving you all the benefits of Posi-STRUT® with the flexibility to trim on-site.

Fixing and Bracing Guidelines for Timber Roof Trusses (1,922kb) (Updated) These guidelines are an abbreviated set of instructions designed to assist with on site work and are not intended to replace the need to reference AS4440-2004. The recommendations apply to roof trusses on standard domestic buildings where truss design details are obtained from MiTek engineering programs.

Guidelines for the Design, Fixing and Bracing of Posi-STRUT Floor, Roof and Truss Systems (1,859kb) (Updated)
The Posi-STRUT range of products are parallel chord trusses using timber chords "on flat" and the unique Post-STRUT metal webs. The Posi-STRUT range of products are available in nominal 200, 250, 300 and 400mm depth. Actual overall truss depth depends on timber sizes used for the chords, and is provided in the design tables enclosed.
